The Iguaçu River is the longest river entirely Paraná. It rises near the Serra do Mar, at the junction of two rivers and Ivaí Palmital, within the limits of the municipalities of pine, Pinhais and Curitiba. Travels 1,320 km from east to west.
After the spectacle of the Falls, Iguazu river follows its way to its mouth to find the Parana River, forming the magic of the three borders, representing the harmonious coexistence of three countries: Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.
Within the park are also the sources of rivers Benjamin Constant and Floriano small perennial rivers such as Silva Jardim, Caapaço, Represinho, Belo, Gair, Cruzinha, Coati, the Indians, Apepu, Apepuzinho, Porridge and The St. John Florian Brazil is the only river that has its entire course within a national park.
